Commentary: This superb wine proves once more that Aglianico is one of the most distinctive and profound grapes in Italy. It delivers deep aromas of blackberries, graphite, wild plum, tobacco. Freshness and minerality (slate) on the palate, very refined texture and an intriguing ending of ashes and wild herbs.
