Vineyards: on argilo-calcaire soil, with layers of marls; trained with pergola and guyot, 150-300 m.a.s.l.; Orientations: East and Wes
Winemaking: hand picked and selected; 50% of the grapes are dried for about one month before fermentation. Fermented in stainless steel with some days of maceration before fermentation. Maceration during fermentation lasts for about one week. When the alcoholic fermentation has finished the wine is racked in french oak barriques where it undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Ageing: about 1 year in french oak barriques of first and second passage; 6 months in bottle
Total Production: 11000 bottles
Commentary: A deep and complex Valpolicella, with hints of prunes, slate, blackcherry, musk. On the palate is velvety, luscious, medium bodied, refreshig and zesty, with vibrant acidity that paves the way to a succulent mouth feel.
